Maintenance Tips
-
Clean filters regularly: Remove and wash or vacuum the indoor air filters every 2–4 weeks to maintain airflow, efficiency, and indoor air quality.
-
Wipe exterior surfaces: Use a soft, dry cloth to gently clean the front panel and louvers to reduce dust buildup.
-
Check condensate drainage: Ensure the condensate pan and drain line are clear so water drains properly and avoids leaks or mold growth.
-
Keep airflow unobstructed: Avoid placing furniture, curtains, or objects near the air inlet and outlet to support proper circulation.
-
Avoid harsh cleaners: Do not use abrasive tools or strong chemical cleaners on coils or internal components to prevent damage.
-
Pre‑season check: Before peak cooling/heating seasons, run the system briefly to confirm smooth, quiet operation.
-
Annual professional service: Schedule yearly HVAC maintenance to inspect electrical connections, blower components, and overall system performance.
